Abstract
Qualitative and quantitative risk assessments are essential for the identification and quantification of the hazards associated with aboveground LPG fixed installations. Estimate the consequences of each identified hazard and identify the safeguards through hazard and operability study technique and identifying of the possible outcomes through event tree. This study aims to estimate the impacts due to a LPG sphere by using MATLAB software called MRFE. In order to sure that MRFE is working and computing correctly, it must be compared its results with results of other similar consequence fire and explosion software.
