Abstract
Endometriosis is a disease of ectopic endometrium located outside the uterus. The disease is rarely found outside the pelvis. It usually affects women in their reproductive years.
Endometriosis is the most frequent laparoscopic finding in patients with chronic cyclic pelvic pain. Little is known about the prevalence of endometriosis.
Risk factors include:•
1- Sociodemographic characteristics.
2- Reproductive history.
3- Contraception use.
4- Personal habits.
5- Body characteristics.
