Abstract
Vincamine is an alkaloid of Vinca minor plant, used in the treatment of cerebral vascular disorders. The present study was performed to gain more explicit information on its effect on isolated preparations and intact animals A dose-dependent inhibitory effect was produced by Vincamine on the rabbit's duodenum. This effect was attributed to the ganglionic blocking activity of Vincamine
