RECENT VERSUS CONVENTIONAL METHODS IN DIAGNOSIS OF URINARY TRACT TUBERCULOSIS
Khaled Ismail Ghaleb;
Abstract
'Tuberculosis remains a major health threat and the rapid emeregence of
drug-resistant mycobacteria has strengthened the demand for methods for the rapid detection of mycobacturia in clinical samples_ Since the prevention of tuberculosis relies on early detection and cure of infection cases(Vimg et 41999). The increased incidence of tuberculosis has stimulated the development of rapid and direct detection methods for the laboratory identification of A/tuberculosis (Wang and Thy 1999)
