Abstract


The aim of the current research is to measure the effectiveness of a proposed program based on geographical representation tools using learning analytics in a smart environment in developing the skills of producing interactive graphs and geographical maps and enhancing the spatial ability factors of the student teacher specializing in geography and geographic information systems at the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University, and the research group consisted of (22) male and female students in the third level for the academic year 2021- 2022, and the experimental design that depends on one group was used with a pre- and post-measurement. The third is the Geography Division, then building the scientific content in light of the list of geographical representation tools. A smart learning environment was designed based on learning analytics tools, including scientific content, and preparing a guide for using the learning environment. Then, the research tools were built in the form of a test to measure the cognitive aspects of graphs and geographical maps. Interactive, graphic product scorecard, interactive geographic maps, the spatial ability factors were matched, and the two tests were applied to the research group first, then the research experiment was conducted, and the two tests and the product evaluation card were applied afterwards. And that is at the level of significance (0.001) in favor of the post application, and there is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental group members in the two post applications and the criterion 80% in the product evaluation card as a whole and for each skill, in the direction of the average scores of the research group, which confirms the effectiveness of the program The proposal in developing the skills of producing interactive graphs and geographical maps and the spatial ability factors of the research group. in university education
