The main purpose of this dissertation is explaining and analysing concepts of philosophy of language and logic through presenting Strawson’s Linguistic and Logical Theory.
Strawson’s Theory includes some concepts, for example, referring, terms (singular and general), truth and meaning.
This study deals with Strawson’s analysis of these concepts through the critical arguments to many Philosophers (Russell, B., Quine, W., Austin, J. and Grice, P.).
