AbstractDoxorubicin is a widely used antitumour drug. Cardiotoxicity is considered a major limitation for its clinical use. The present study was designed to assess the possible antioxidant and antiapoptotic effects of 6-gingerol in attenuating doxorubicin-induced cardiac damage.
