Abstract
Ankylosis is a Greek terminology means pathological fusion of the bones.
There are three major causes for stapes ankylosis which can be classified as:
• (1st ) : Otosclerosis
• (2nd ) : generalized bony lesion with ossicular fixation
• (3rd )
