Aim of this work is to detect cytomegalovirus (CMV) specific immunoglobulin M (IgM) in older people as sign of virus reactivation. CMV specific IgM denotes recent or reactivated infection so its presence may reflect waned Cell-Mediated Immunity (CMI). 50
