Abstract


Human Parvovirus B19 is a small non enveloped DNA virus with a world wide stribution. The prevalence of IgG showed a gradual & steady increase from 37% in ildren aged 1 to 5 years to 87% in people aged >50 years (Heegaard et al., 2002).
