Abstract


In Egypt, there are mainly four Tilapia species naturally distributed in the River Nile and its branches. These species include the mouth brooding genera; Oreochromis (O. niloticus & O. aureus) and Sarotherodon (S. galilaeus) and substrate spawning genus;
