Biography
Currently, I'm a Professor of Biochemistry at the Faculty of Science, Ain Shams University. My research focuses on molecular oncology, particularly the regulation of cancer progression and therapy response. I utilize insights from patient-based genetics to identify factors related to cancer occurrence, aiming to discover potential diagnostic and prognostic markers. Within this framework, I also investigate natural products and nano-formulations as anti-cancer agents and modulators of the deleterious effects of chemo/radiotherapy, with a deep interest in elucidating their mechanisms of action.
