Biography
Prof. Dr. Mohamed EL-Shimy Mahmoud Bekhet (M. EL-Shimy) was born in Cairo, Egypt in 1974. He is currently a professor of electrical power systems with the Department of Electrical Power and Machines – Faculty of Engineering - Ain Shams University. He is also an electromechanical specialist, a freelance trainer, a technical advisor, and a member of many associations and professional networks. He is a technical reviewer and editor with some major journals and conferences. He also served as a keynote speaker and TCP at many international conferences. His fields of interest include electric power system: analysis, stability, economics, optimization, distribution, renewable energy integration, and reliability.
