Biography
Associate professor in Architectural Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, and currently is the coordinator of student artisitc activities and training of architectural programs at Education & Students' Affairs sector at the same faculty. A focused intention on human sciences especially environmental psychology in both architecture education and professional practices can be seen in her published research. The first track appears in articles tackle creativity studies in relation to teaching/learning methods in design studios, while the second track pursues many studies associated with the impact of human needs and behaviour in designing human artifacts, open spaces and urban landscaping. She is also a reviewer in many international journals. Doaa has a track record in administrative and professional services, she has been consulted by the General Authority for Educational Buildings (GOPA worldwide consultants), she is a member of Continuous improvement and Qualification program for Accreditation at the faculty, and a previous member of American Society of Landscape Architects ASLA.
