Biography
Name: Prof. Dr. Mohammed Saad Hamid Academic Degree: Professor - Mental Health and Special Education
Current position: Professor - Mental Health and counseling at Ain shams University.
He received a PhD in Mental Health & Counseling from Ain-Shams University in Cairo (Egypt) in 2010, followed by a Postdoctoral Mission at the University of Pennsylvania (USA) in 2011. He worked as an assistant professor at King Faisal University in Saudi Arabia. He worked at Department of Psychological Sciences and Head of learning support in Qatar University until 2023. In 2023, he was promoted to Professor at Ain Shams University.
Previously, he held several administrative positions including Vice President of the Center for Psychological Counseling at Ain Shams University. He has taught many undergraduate and postgraduate courses and supervised many masters and doctoral theses. He has published many Arabic and international papers and received some research grants and scientific awards, he is also a trainer in the field of education and special needs education. He is an internship supervisor in many inclusive schools and special education in many Arab countries.
