Biography
Magdy Mahmoud Mohamed earned PhD through the channel system between Ain Shams University, Faculty of Science, Egypt, and RIKEN Institute, Tokyo University, Tokyo, Japan. Received the Ain Shams Award for excellent research in 1998, and a Fulbright postdoctoral fellowship in 1999. According to Google Scholar, total citations are 531 with an h-index of 12. worked on many projects including the Schistosome research project (SRP) (1990-1995), Bilharzial genome projects (ESTs) sponsored by USA (1995-1999), and Molecular characterization of HCV (1997-1998) sponsored by Ain Shams University.
