Biography
Esraa A. Elhawary works as an assistant professor at Department of Pharmacognosy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain Shams University since 2022. She got her Ph.D. Pharmacognosy in 2021 Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. Her research interests in the field of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry, natural products chemistry, metabolic profiling through GC/MS, LC/MS and other chemometric tools. Moreover, isolation of plant secondary metabolites with interesting biological activities. Essential oils isolation, analysis, and biological evaluation together with botanical identification of various natural drugs via the use of various microscopes, sample preparation, dyeing and imaging. Dr Esraa also, acts as a certified peer reviewer for many ranked journals and she got awarded the top 1% peer reviewer award from Publons® in 2018.
