I am a Consultant Clinical Oncologist and Lecturer of Clinical Oncology at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, Cairo. I hold an MD and MSc in Clinical Oncology and am certified as a Consultant by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. I have successfully passed the ESMO Examination and am an ESCO Fellow of the European School of Oncology, reflecting formal recognition of advanced training in medical oncology at the European level.
My academic responsibilities include undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in clinical oncology, supervision of MSc and MD theses, participation in OSCE and clinical examinations, and leadership of journal clubs and case-based learning activities. I am actively involved in oncology education development and have contributed to organizing national and international scientific meetings and educational workshops in collaboration with European oncology societies.
I have served as a principal investigator and co-investigator in multinational and industry-sponsored clinical studies, including regional real-world research projects. I have authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications in international journals and have presented my work at major global oncology conferences, including ASCO, ESMO, SABCS, and ICML.
I am an active member of several international oncology organizations, including ASCO, ESMO, the European School of Oncology, and the European Research Initiative on CLL. My academic work is driven by a strong commitment to advancing clinical oncology education, research excellence, and evidence-based cancer care within both local and international academic frameworks.
