Biography
Mahetab Abdal-wahab is associate professor of periodontology and dental implant at Ain Shams University (ASU) with twelve years’ experience in. She is an administrator in Egyptian academy of periodontology, member in AAID and AAP, PhD is graduate of Ain Shams University school of dentistry, where she also attended her undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Dr. Abdel-Wahab trained at dental medical center of Ain Shams University and whitey dental clinic. During her residency, she was able to provide dental care and consultation that resulted in an overall improvement of the department's patient satisfaction quotient. Afterward, she completed fellowship in oral medicine and periodontology department ASU in Egypt. Furthermore, she finished her master's degree in periodontology and shared in research project in Stem Cell Unit in Queen Medical Center operated by Alberta University and funded by Qatar Foundation. Dr. Abdel-Wahab focused on various soft and hard tissue augmentation surgeries, implant placement and stem cell therapy.
Currently, she works as a research Mentor for post-graduate, Supervisor on practical postgraduate advanced periodontal surgeries and implant and Quality Coordinator for Oral Medicine, Oral Diagnosis and periodontology department, Faculty of Dentistry, Ain Shams University (ASU).
