Biography
Mohamed Emam-Ismail is a researcher in optical physics specializing in polarization optics, birefringent materials, and thin film analysis. His work focuses on developing new methods for the characterization of thin films, alongside the design and study of multiple-order wave plates and spectral sensitivity across the UV–NIR region. He has conducted experimental investigations on crystalline materials such as quartz, examining their optical behavior under varying conditions, including radiation effects. His research also extends to the long-term study and publication of diluted magnetic semiconductor (DMS) thin films, aiming to advance the understanding and performance of precision optical and functional material systems.
