I am an Egyptian entomologist specialising in insect taxonomy and ecology. I completed my Master's thesis on the taxonomy of dragonflies and damselflies (Order Odonata) in Egypt, contributing valuable knowledge to the diversity and classification of these insects in the region. I am currently pursuing my PhD, focusing on the taxonomy of the family Hippoboscidae alongside investigating the impact of climate change on this group of parasitic flies. My research bridges classical taxonomic work with contemporary environmental challenges, reflecting a deep commitment to understanding insect biodiversity in Egypt and beyond.
