Abstract
The thesis comprises studies on preparation and characterization besides thermal behaviour of binary and mixed ligand metal complexes of thiosemicarbazones. The thesis includes thermal studies on binary complexes previously reported in the literature, for which, however no thermal analysis was reported. A brief description of the different chapters is given as follows:
1- The first chapter contains a generallit rature survey on the chemistry
of thiosemicarbazones and their complexes. It covers further the literature collection on thermal decomposition , photochemical behaviour and biological activity ofthese Compounds.
2- The second chapter deals with the experimental details of preparing the ligands, binary and mixed ligand complexes along with their physical measurements.
3- The third chapter includes the results and discussion of the obtained
data. This chapter can be summarized as follows:
