Proteinuria and apoptotic Renal cell loss
Hatem Abdel Hamied Darwish;
Abstract
Apoptosis has been suggested as a responsible mechanism for deletion of parenchymal cells within the past few years and it has been subjected to many studies. Apoptosis is a physiological and 'programmed' form of cell death, initially identified by highly characteristic morphological changes, including condensation of nuclear chromatin and the cytoplasm, and now known to be the result of an ordered series of biochemical events within the dying cell.
