lsmaiel Fahmy Abdel-Raoof;
Abstract
Clinicdly, von Wil!ebrand disease is characterized by excess1ve bleedihg and in the laboratory by.lower or dysfunctional vWF. However, in the current study we have focused on raised leveLs of these molecules.
The study was ca1'ried out to detect levels of von Willebrand factor antigen (vWFAg) and coagulation factor VIII (FVIII) in patients with ischaemic heart diseases (!I-10), To clarify any relation between their levels and isciJ?.emic heart events, finally-to detect if they can be used as markers for these diseases and if they have a role in the pathogenesis of these diseases.
