NON-CLASSICAL EFFECTS IN QUANTUM OPTICS THEORY (Investigations for some new slates in Quantum Optics)

FAISAL ALY ALY EL-ORANY;

Abstract

In this thesis we study the quantum effects of some new states, namely called the even binomial state. We investigate all kinds of squeezing as well as the reduced quantum fluctuations for the atomic operators when interacting with a Jaynes Cummings model. We also introduce a new state of the radiation field which is the odd binomial state. Different quantum effects of these states are also investigated.
In the last chapter we introduce a new class of states.

These states generalize the results obtained for both even and odd binomial state as well as the orthogonal state introduced by R. Lynch in [ Phys. Rev. A49(1994) 2800 J.
