Monitoring Quality of Nursing Care Provided for Neonates Suffering from Jaundice

Abstract
Currently, monitoring the quality of care is of interest worldwide. In Egypt, the Ministry of Health focuses on developing standards of neonatal nursing care to enhance the role of neonatal nurses and improve the provision of essential and life saving care for neonates.
This study aimed at monitoring the quality of nursing care given to neonates suffering from jaundice in the neonatal care units through:
a- assessing the applicability of the stander care protocol for neonatal jaundice from admission through discharge by neonatal nurses.
b- Identify the factors that affect the non-applicability of the stander care protocol for neonatal jaundice.
This study aimed at monitoring the quality of nursing care given to neonates suffering from jaundice in the neonatal care units through:
