Abstract
Congenital vertical talus is a rare anomaly of unknown aetiology, which can be easily diagnosed at birth. It is mostly associated with disorders of the nervous system and arthrogryposis. It is more frequently •seen in boys. The literature indicates that approximately
50% of patients have bilateral involvement, as the incidence in our series, and a high percentage of associated anomalies, 15 of our patients (75%) had and underlying primary diagnosis and 14 patients (70%) had an additional secondary diagnosis.
