Abstract
The present taxonomic study of subfamily Tentyriinae, family Tenebrionidae, Order Coleoptera in Egypt includes the following:
- An illustrated morphological study of the common species in Egypt (Mesostena angustata Fabricius).
A taxonomic revision of subfamily Tentyriinae, family Tenebrionidae including corrent names, diagnosis, keys, illustrations, microscopic photos, and synonyms of the genera and species. In addition local and geographical distributions for each species were also given.
