Abstract

SUMMARY
L
eg telangiectasias and reticular veins are a common complaint affecting more than 80% of the population to some extent.Telangiectasias, reticular veins and varicose veins are the visible signs of chronic venous disease, and can occur in the presence or absence of either symptoms or an underlying functional venous disorder (reflux).
The included studies evaluated a number of sclerosing agents, types of exo-laser or combination between two modalities used in the treatment of telangiectasias, spider veins and reticular veins of the lower limbs. Asymptomatic patients with telangiectasias or reticular veins often find the cosmetic appearance of their veins distressing.
