ENVIRONMENTAL KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS IN INDUSTRIAL SECTOR (APPLIED ON MELTING FACTORY ON 10TH OF RAMADAN CITY)

Abstract
This thesis main objective is quantifying environmental performance through KPI definition and accounting the establishment of environmental targets. Once a company is able to reduce the uncertainty relating to the measurement of periodical change, it can measure periodical and percentage changes in specific KPIs, which can become the basis for target pre-setup setting.
KPIs are required to really put a value to the environmental benefits that Industrial Company could bring to the world economy.
The thesis presents problem of collecting all related product quality improvement sensors data. The thesis presents modeling, simulation and development of a system installed and running in one of the industrial companies in the field of melting metals in Egypt. The thesis proposed a new implemented Database Management System (DMS) combing :
1. The national environmental standards for industry which control the production of uniform coil rod diameter to satisfy the control requirement.
2. Integrate the existing technical data into the ERP system Applied in the Factory through 3rd parity system designed, developed and implemented (as contribution of the thesis).

3. Handling the resulting huge amount of manipulated data , storing , tracking and analyzing through 3rd parity system designed, developed and implemented (another contribution of the thesis as introduction to the terminology of Big Data Analysis).
The Real Data results show complete trace for the production process of the finished good coil rod over the production real time life cycle.
