FACTORS ASSOCIATED WITH PATIENTS' DECISION TO SEEK TREATMENT FOR SYMPTOMS OF ACUTE-MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION
Noura Ibrahim Ibrahim;
Abstract
Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is considered a major cause of mortality worldwide. Clinical trials have shown a reduction in the morbidity and the mortality of patients receiving MI treatment namely thrombolytics within one hour of the onset of symptoms. Thus, the time to treatment is a key variable in the efficiency of the thrombolytic therapy of AMI.
