BRAIN AGING AMONG NORMAL EGYPTIANS COGNITIVE, PERSONALITY AND NEUROLOGICAL ASPECTS

Abstract
Studying the physiological and biological changes that occur in old age is considered nowadays an important subject to differentiate between brain and early dementia especially Alzheimer disease.
Material and Methods
In the present work, 94 elderly normal Egyptian subjects, they were divided
into two groups (below and above 60 years) and further divided into 37 normal healthy subjects and 57 with MCI they were submitted to the following:
I. Neuropsychological tests for testing memory, perception, psychomotor performance and attention in addition to global testing of cognitive functions and certain rating scales
