Abstract

In this study, Red cell GSH and serum thyroid hormones were estimated

m:

10 Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia patients (5 Patients before treatment and 5 patients after treatment).
10 Acute myeloid leukaemia patients (5 Patients before treatment and 5

patients after treatment).

10 Chronic lymphatic leukaemia patients (5 Patients before treatment and 5 patients after treatment).
10 Chronic myeloid leukaemia patients (5 Patients before treatment and

5 patients after treatment).

10 H.D patients (5 Patients before and 5 patients after treatment).

10 Nffi.., patients ( 5 Patients before and 5 patients after treatment ).

12 Breast cancer patients ( 6 Patients before and 6 patients after treatment).
8 Bladder cancer patients (4 patients before and 4 patients after

treatment ).

4 tissue biopsy ( 2 bladder cancer, 2 breast cancer and their adjacent normal tissues).
The assays were also estimated in the sera and red cells of 10 ontrols .

I. Acute Leukaemia

A. GSH level

1. GSH level in All patients before treatment ( X 361.01 ± 140.83 ) was increased significantly as compared with controls (X 206.7 ± 19.22) and cases after treatment (X 164.36 ± 57.1).
