Abstract
he study was performed from October 2010 till May 2013. Data were collected throw a collecting sheet for every patient of the 50 patients (Fig 41), and 2 master sheets ; one for the patient group [Group (A)](fig54), and the other for the control group [Group (B)] (fig55), including patient age, sex, limb orientation, Allen test, pre and postoperative duplex results, surgical and during hemodialysis accessibility and AVF maturity.
Data were analyzed using Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) version 18.0. Quantitative data were expressed as mean± standard deviation (SD). Qualitative data were expressed as frequency and percentage.
The following tests were done:
Independent-samples t-test of significance was used when comparing between two means.
Chi-square (X2) test of significance was used in order to compare proportions between two qualitative parameters.
Probability (P-value):
– P-value 0.05 was considered significant.
– P-value 0.01 was considered as highly significant.
– P-value >0.05 was considered insignificant.
