Abstract

J'rustaglmulins arc a group of interesting substances that have been known for many years. More than a dozen prostaglandins have been identified in human seminal fluid. Original.ly prostaglandins were extracted at considerable expense from the vesicular glands of sheep, but nowadays since their chemistry is known, they can be synthe­ sized.
