DIRECT COMPUTATION FOR HIGH PERFORMANCE INTERPOLATION FILTER

Abstract
A new multiplier free digital linear interpolation filter is presented. The filter uses direct computation of the output samples. The filter dramatically reduce the hardware implementation as compared to the enhanced FIR (CFIR) technique. A detailed comparison between the CF and CFIR is provided.
