Environmental Thermal Binders

Fatma Nady Taha Sayed;

Abstract

The original work of his Thesis comprises five main parts:

Part 1: In this part comparison between the properties of polyurethane acrylates synthesized by microwave and thermal heating is discussed.
Part 2: This part involves the application of synthesized polyurethane acrylates (part 1) as binders in pigment printing pastes for silk screen printing cotton, polyester and CO/PET fabrics.
Part 3: In this part the possibility of synthesis hyper-branched poly (urethanes-urea) (HBPU) from Isophorone diisocyanate and diethanolamine using Millstone microwave reactor is investigated. Part 4: This part involves investigation the binding ability of synthesized powered hyperbranched polyurethane-urea in silk screen pigment printing of cotton, polyester and CO/PET fabrics. Part 5: This part includes studying the ability of hyperbranched polyurethane-urea to improve the thermal stability of cotton and (CO/PET) fabrics.

Key words:
Polyurethane acrylate, microwave heating, binders, isophorone diisocyanate, thermal stability of fabrics.
