Abstract

The mean value of APCs in the samples obtained from the intestines and the mesenteric lymph nodes were 2.6 x I 06 ± 2.3 x 105 and 4.9 x 105 ± 3.3 x 103 respectively.

Mean value of APCs in the samples of liver was 5 x I04 ± 2.7 x I04

meanwhile the mean value of the hepatic lymph nodes, 1.1 x I 05 ±

8.0 x 103 . Higher value was recorded from the gallbladder where the mean value of APCs attained 3.5 xI 05 ± 3.1 x Io'. As regard to the diaphragmatic muscles-the representative ofmutton in this study- the

mean value of APCs was 3.3 x I 04 ± 2 x I 04 .

79 % of mesenteric lymph nodes showed APCs count exceeding

105

while 61% ofthe intestines had counts ranged between 106 - 107.

Also, 77% of gallbladder samples had counts exceeding I 05 and attained to 106 meanwhile 70% of the examined liver sample showed APCs exceeding 104 Somewhat lower percentage (64 %) ofthe hepatic lymph nodes had the same count of l 04 .

62% of diaphragmatic muscle had a count between 105 to 106 .
