Abstract
The mm of the present study is to determine the prevalence of Factor V Leiden mutation as a risk factor in development of portal vein thrombosis in the pediatric age b'fOUp.
The study included 40 children diagnosed as having portal vem thrombosis, following at the Outpatient
1-lepatology Clinic, New Children's Hospital Cairo University and 20 healthy age and sex matched children serving as a control group.
