Summary:
The decision of contractor selection starts after tender stage. A common problem however is the compatibility of the selected contractor to the requirements of the project delivery method. This thesis presents a fuzzy logic-based contractor evaluation framework that identifies and categorizes contractor’s selection factors, based on their degrees of belonging to a set of main selection criteria and their interrelated impact weight within each criteria, using Fuzzy C-Means clustering technique and Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP). It also presents a strategy that can help in evaluating contractors, based on the selected project delivery method
