CYTOGENETICAL STlJDIES OF SOME SPECIES OF PARASITES IN UPPER EGYPT

Abstract


A total of twenty species of parasites representing eight orders of each of class Trematoda, Cestoda, Nematoda, Insecta and Arachnida were morphologically and cytogenetically studied. The results of the chromosomal analysis were compared with thcise obtained from the classical methods in taxonomy using ecological, morphological and anatomical character.; alo.ne. The following is a summary of the results.
