Comparison Between Laser Resurfacing and Dermabrasion in the Treatment of Post Acne Scarring of the Face

Abstract

Acne scarring presents a major problem for most patients. Scarring usually follows acne vulgaris especially in the severe cases. Dermabrasion and Carbon Dioxide laser resurfacing are two modalities used in the treatment of post acne scarring, however there are not enough data in literature showing which of these two modalities is more effective in the treatment of post acne scars.
