Multiplicity Characteristics of Backward Particles Production in the Interactions of High Energy 6Li and 7Li With Emulsion Nuclei
Badawy Mohamed Fath-alla Badawy;
Abstract
From the present study of the backward particle production (9Lab > 90°) of the interactions of 6Li (4.5 A GeV/c) and 7Li (3.0 A GeV/c) with emulsion nuclei, the following conclusions may be drawn:
1) The values of the experimental mean free paths in the emulsion for different projectiles are reproduced successfully with different known theoretical parameterization, using the Bradt-Peters formula , which assumes a geometrical cross-section including an overlapping
parameter
