Abstract

Coccidiosis is the most serious disease which affects rabbits in
'
different ages and it is responsible for high mortality in rabbitslall over

the world including Egypt . !
I
The present study was carried out to evaluate off counter-
1
immunoelectrophoresis and ELISA for immunodiagnosis of eirculating
I
antibodies and antigens of rabbits experimentally infected with Eimeria
I

stiedae.

Sixty healthy rabbits of ( 5 weeks old ) , proved to be parasitic free were used . 50 rabbits were used for experimental study and d+ded into
5 groups , each group contained of 10 rabbits and additional l 0 rabbits were left as non infected control . Each rabbit was given orally by means
of stomach tube , 2 ml , 10,000 infective sporulated oocystsf Eimeria
stiedae. I

Blood samples were collected from the ear vein of each[ rabbit in
I
each group on 5 , 10 , 15 , 20 , 30 days respectively and alsoi from the

control group. Then the sera were separated and kept at -20 °C till use.
I
The sera were calorimetrically analyzed by the aid ospectro-
photometer to determine total bilirubin ( TB ) , AST and ALT .I Also the total protein ( TP ) , albumin (A) and AP . I
