Abstract
The aim of this investigation is to study the biological effect of certain fruits and vegetable on lowering the level of cholesterol in blood. A total number of (108) male white albfino rats were used in the study, (102) of rats were rendered hypercholesterolipmic by feeding on 2% cholesterol diet for 3 weeks, they were then divided into 10 groups.
- Groupl: Control group (6 rats) fed on basal diet (control negative) in which rats were ted casein basal diet (12 % crude protein) for 28 days (control-).
