Asummary
The aim of this work was to study the effect of some biochomical markers of bone metabolism on bone formation ad bone resorption in asthmatic patients receiving inhaled corticosteroide.
This study included 40 subjects , 30 of them with bronchial asthma and 10 healthy subjects from the chest department of Ain Shams university Hospital and Ain Shams specialized Hospital.
They were divided into 4 groups: Group A:
10 healthy subjects as control.
Group B:
10 asthmatic patients on systemic corticosteroide for al least one year.
Group C:
10 asthmatic patients on inhaled steroids of a range 800 to
1500 day for at least one year and didn't receive systemic steroids at least for 1 year.
