Abstract
Clostridium difficile associated diarrhea is the most frequently identified cause of nosocomial diarrhea. C.difficle causes a wide range of clinical syndromes, inducing asymptomatic colonization, antibiotic associated diarrhea and pseudemembrance colitis.
