Abstract

The present study was carried out during two successive seasons in the Experimental Farm of the Faculty of Agriculture, Moshtohor, Zagazig University, Benha Branch on three citrus rootstocks.

Data obtained revealed obviously that the different growth parameter, i.e., stem length, plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves I plant, leaf area, number of roots/ plant, top fresh and dry weight, total plant fresh and dry weight and top I root ratio and chemical leaf content i.e., chlorophyll a, b & caroteniods, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, Magnesium, Manganese, Zinc and Iron were positively affected by effective microorganisms (EM) fertilization as compared to control during both seasons . Thus, it is so working to be recommended applying effective microorganisms as foliar sprays at 4% especially with sour orange and volkameriana rootstock seedlings.
