Abnormally low inferior to temporal and superior to temporal rim width ratios can indicate glaucomatous optic nerve damage in some glaucoma suspects and ocular hypertensive eyes with normal perimetric results, taking into account, however, a pronounced overlap between the normal and the glaucoma suspect groups.
