BIOENVIRONMENTAL PREDICTORS AFFECTING DIARRHOEA AMONG PRESCHOOLERS IN AN EGYPTIAN VILLAGE, AN EPIDEMIOLOGICAL STUDY

Abstract
This study is intended to disclose the environmental predictors affecting diarrhoea among preschoolers in an Egyptian village and to determine the causative - microbial agents of diarrhoea in this age group in a rural area of Egypt. 500 house hold mother ware taken randomly from the selected village i.e El SHOKR in Kaluobia governrate
250 child suffering from diarrhea and 250 contra!group matched as regard age & sex were taken for comparison .
The exploratory phase of the study last for one month to test the questionnaire to train the investigator in data collection & laboralory technique.
The critera of house hold interviewed mothers are those having at least a child under Five years old . A consent form written in arabic language was read to the parents describing the aim of the study and nature of examination envolved and confedentiolity ofthe result findings .
